Dano Does Writing

I have always liked writing. I wrote tons of stories as a kid (the longest was about becoming a Pokémon trainer). I was on forums, as a young internet user, where the participants would write a story together, one paragraph at a time. While studying Anthropology in university, I loved writing essays and research papers, mostly because I was finally able to pick the topics, much unlike high school.

In adult life, I scratch my writing itch in a few ways:

  • Writing Dungeons and Dragons campaigns for my friends

  • Writing copy as a social media manager

  • Writing scripts for my YouTube channel

  • Using my Technical Communications diploma to write a whole lot of nonsense at my day job

But I miss that casual, early 2000s Tumblr-esque blog-like writing, so here we are!

I can’t say exactly what I’ll write here, this is Dano Does Things after all, and I am notoriously unable to pick a niche. I will probably not write a 1000-word diatribe on the problems about hustle culture followed by my mom’s lasagna recipe, but you never know.
